Cathodic Protection

This program utilizes a well know industry technique to control the corrosion of underground metal piping by making it the cathode of an electrochemical cell.  It uses test points with sacrificial anodes strategically located throughout your gas line system.

 

First we locate your underground gas lines.  We then create a map of your system and make  a determination of size and number of anodes needed to properly protect your overall system.  We also determine the strategic location of these anodes. We excavate and install the anodes along with test stations that are subsequently used to test the protection of the system. In addition to installing this system, we offer monitoring services along with leak survey and leak investigation services.
